Uses

  • Moderate to severe persistent allergic asthma in patients who have a positive skin test or in vitro reactivity to a perennial allergen and whose symptoms are inadequately controlled with inhaled corticosteroids.
  • Chronic idiopathic urticaria (CIU) in patients aged 12 years and older who remain symptomatic despite H1 antihistamine treatment.

Dosage and Administration

The dosage of Xolair 150mg injection is based on the patient’s body weight and serum total IgE level. It is administered subcutaneously every 2 to 4 weeks by a healthcare professional. The injection should be given in the upper arm, thigh, or abdomen, and the injection site should be rotated with each injection.
