ZILERO 2.5MG TABLET

Zilero 2.5mg Tablet contains the active ingredient Apixaban and belongs to a class of medications called anticoagulants or blood thinners. It is prescribed for the prevention and treatment of blood clots in certain medical conditions. The tablet is formulated to release Apixaban gradually, providing sustained anticoagulant effects.

Uses:

1. Prevention of Stroke and Blood Clots in Atrial Fibrillation: Zilero 2.5mg Tablet is commonly used to reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat). Atrial fibrillation can cause blood clots to form in the heart, which can then travel to the brain and cause a stroke. Apixaban helps prevent the formation of blood clots in the heart and their subsequent migration to other parts of the body.
2. Treatment and Prevention of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism (PE): Zilero 2.5mg Tablet is used to treat deep vein thrombosis, a condition where blood clots form in the deep veins, usually in the legs. It is also used to prevent pulmonary embolism, a serious condition where a blood clot travels to the lungs and blocks blood flow. Apixaban helps reduce the risk of recurrent blood clots and their associated complications.
3. Prevention of Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) after Orthopedic Surgery: Zilero 2.5mg Tablet may be prescribed to prevent venous thromboembolism in patients undergoing hip or knee replacement surgery. These surgical procedures increase the risk of blood clot formation. Apixaban helps reduce the risk of clots, including deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, during the recovery period.

Side Effects:
