Emglif LMXR tablet contains Empagliflozin (5mg), Linagliptin (2.5mg), and Metformin (1000mg). This extended-release combination helps control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes.

Uses

  1. Type 2 Diabetes Control: It lowers blood glucose using three complementary actions in a single daily tablet.
  2. Simplified Treatment: Combining three medicines helps improve convenience and treatment adherence.

Side Effects

Common side effects include urinary or genital infections, increased urination, nausea, diarrhoea, or a metallic taste. Low blood sugar is possible with other diabetes medicines.

When Not to Use

  1. Severe Kidney Impairment: Do not use if kidney function is significantly reduced.
  2. Type 1 Diabetes or Ketoacidosis: Not suitable for these conditions.
  3. Hypersensitivity: Avoid if allergic to any ingredient.

Take with food as prescribed, swallow whole, stay well hydrated, and monitor blood sugar. Tell your doctor before surgery or if you become unwell.
