GLYCON M 50 500 MG TABLET

Glycon M 50/500mg tablet contains Sitagliptin (50mg) and Metformin (500mg). It is used to control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes.

Uses:

1. Type 2 Diabetes Control: It lowers blood glucose when diet and exercise alone are not enough.
2. Dual Action: Sitagliptin helps the body release more insulin after meals, while metformin reduces glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity.

Side Effects: Common side effects include nausea, diarrhoea, a metallic taste, or, with other diabetes medicines, low blood sugar.

When Not to Use:

1. Severe Kidney Impairment: Do not use if kidney function is significantly reduced.
2. Type 1 Diabetes or Ketoacidosis: Not suitable for these conditions.
3. Hypersensitivity: Avoid if allergic to either ingredient.
