Active Ingredients

  1. Sacubitril: Sacubitril is a neprilysin inhibitor that enhances the effects of natriuretic peptides, such as atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) and B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP). These peptides promote vasodilation, diuresis, and natriuresis, which helps to improve heart function and reduce fluid retention.
  2. Valsartan: Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes vasoconstriction and increases blood pressure. By blocking the angiotensin II receptor, valsartan causes vasodilation, decreases blood pressure, and reduces the workload on the heart.

Uperio Fct 200mg Tablet is indicated for the treatment of:

  • Heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) in adult patients to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure.

The combination of Sacubitril and Valsartan in Uperio Fct Tablet works synergistically to:

  • Enhance the effects of natriuretic peptides, leading to vasodilation, diuresis, and natriuresis, which helps to improve heart function and reduce fluid retention.
