Ocumox Drop 5ml (Fridge) contains Moxifloxacin. It is an eye medicine.

Uses of Ocumox Drop 5ml (Fridge)

Ocumox Drop 5ml (Fridge) is used for:

  • Bacterial conjunctivitis (red, sticky eyes)
  • Blepharitis and other bacterial eye infections

Side Effects

Common side effects of Ocumox Drop 5ml (Fridge) include:

  • Brief stinging or burning after use
  • Mild redness or irritation of the eye
  • Temporary blurred vision, especially with ointment

Stop using it and see a doctor if the redness, pain or swelling gets worse, or if your eyesight changes.

Precautions

  • Use it for the full time advised, even if the eye looks better sooner.
  • Do not wear contact lenses while the eye is infected unless your doctor says it is safe.
  • Do not let the tip of the bottle touch the eye or any other surface, to keep it clean.
  • If you use more than one eye medicine, wait at least 5 minutes between them.

Tell your doctor about any other medicines you use, any allergies, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to Use

Wash your hands first. Tilt your head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid and put the number of drops your doctor advised into the eye, then close the eye for a minute. Use it exactly as you were told. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.

Storage

Store as directed on the pack, away from heat and direct sunlight. Throw the bottle away after the time printed on the label once it is opened. Keep out of the reach of children.
